Structure
The three levels
Roles are organised by geographic scope. Each level supports the one below it.
Taluk ತಾಲೂಕು
Cluster level
Supporting village coordinators across a taluk, organising larger programs, and consolidating participation reporting.
District ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ
District level
Planning district-wide activity, acting as liaison with the organisation, and providing oversight and review for taluk teams.
Who can apply
Eligibility criteria
Meeting these criteria makes an application eligible for consideration. It does not create any entitlement to a role.
- Age21 years or above on the date of application
- ResidenceResident of the village, taluk or district applied for
- EducationAble to read and write in Kannada; English is helpful but not required
- AvailabilityAble to commit regular time to community coordination work
- DocumentsValid government photo identity and address proof
- ConductNo history of misrepresenting the organisation or its programs
How it works
Selection process
- EnquirySubmit an enquiry by phone, email or the contact form stating the level and area you are interested in.
- Initial discussionA member of the team contacts you to explain the role, the time commitment and what it does and does not include.
- Document verificationIdentity and address documents are checked. Nothing is charged for verification.
- AssessmentA short discussion about local knowledge, availability and understanding of the programs.
- DecisionThe organisation decides based on requirement in that area at that time. A decision may be positive, negative, or deferred.
- Written termsIf selected, the role and its terms are set out in writing before it begins. Do not act on any verbal promise.
Beyond formal roles
Community participation
You do not need a formal role to take part. These are open to anyone in the community.
Volunteer at programs
Help with registration, venue setup and translation at awareness sessions in your area.
Host a session
Offer a hall, school room or community space so a program can run locally.
Sports and talent
Enter a team for the cricket championship, or take part in music, dance and singing activities.
Spread awareness
Tell people in your village or ward about upcoming programs and how to register.
